Easter Weekend Trading Hours

With the Easter Weekend nearly upon us, we wanted to let you know that your local Farm Source store will close to give our staff a well-earned break. We will be closed as follows:

  • Good Friday 10 April: Closed
  • Saturday 11 April: Closed
  • Sunday 12 April: Closed
  • Easter Monday 13 April: Closed
  • Tuesday 14 April: Normal store hours resume (note - Southland stores remain closed for Anniversary Day, and reopen on Wednesday 15 April)

COVID-19 and your local Farm Source store

In just one day we completely transformed our retail business from a welcoming community space for people to connect, engage, have a coffee and buy supplies… to an online retailer. We did this so that we can continue to supply the products necessary to support our customers, while keeping everyone safe. We feel very privileged to be considered an essential service and will do everything we can to support our communities through the next four weeks.

As we communicated, we closed our store front doors, but we are still open for all farmers and for other customers who require farm supplies for essential farm activities! You can do everything you did before, just over the phone or online. And, here’s how:

  • Place an order online or by phone.
  • Your local store will confirm your order and clarify next steps.
  • On farm deliveries will continue where possible and the team will confirm time and any cost.
  • For collection in store, the team will let you know when to arrive. On arrival, call the store, open your boot/tray and get back into your car. The team will place the order in your vehicle.
  • This new model places a heavy burden on our team, so we’ve decided to temporarily cease Saturday trading to give them a much needed break. You can of course still place an order online 24/7 for collection the following week.

But, to make these changes effective and safe for everyone, we need your help. Please:

  • Follow our instructions - they are designed to protect you and our team.
  • Shop normally – we have enough product for everyone and can get all our customers what they need. So please just shop for your regular requirements.
  • Only arrive at the store when the team have confirmed your order’s ready for collection – this will help ensure a smooth process.
  • And, please be patient - we are experiencing a significant number of orders and customer queries and we will get to you as soon as we can.

Fonterra farmers – please note, you are unable to redeem your FS$ for the moment as our partner is not deemed an essential service. You will still earn FS$ during this period and we have paused expiry.
