Quick and Easy to Fit: Push the pipe over the barbs up to the “stop” then tighten the BLUE NUT. The double barb gives a large surface area for the pipe to grip onto. In most situations, the Anka fitting can be fitted cold to the pipe. Superior Strength: Cutaway showing the nut teeth ‘biting’ into the pipe for superior grip. By tightening the Blue Nut the pipe is pulled onto the fitting up to the stop. It also pushes the pipe onto the barb on the fitting for a more secure fit.
